WHAT FLORIDA NATIVE PLANT IS BLOOMING TODAY?: PEPPERVINE (Ampelopsis arborea)

One of the more beneficial plants in my garden, the pollinators are drawn to it (see my article link below).

This deciduous vine is a member of the grape family and likes it moist. The fruit is enjoyed by birds and mammals and the deer will browse the leaves. The fruit turns from green to a hot pink to deep purple/black. Can be on the aggressive side but will cover a fence providing shelter for fauna.
