  1. I love goldenrod! In Massachusetts we owned a beach house in South Dartmouth, a coastal community full of salt marshes and small ponds. Our house overlooked one of these ponds and in early September the combo of goldenrod, queen anne’s lace, liatris, and those big corn dog looking reeds (sorry, i’ve NEVER known the name of that plant!) created quite a memorable scene!
